Deconstructing a Mountain (2023-Present)

This work traces the contours of a deconstructed mountain. It looks not only at what has been removed, but at what remains: the scars and the residues. The quarry has become a site of negative space—where absence takes form, and industry unintentionally crafts new topographies. In this in-between space of production and abandonment, I am drawn to the visual and emotional weight of what remains. This is an ongoing engagement with place and extraction—both material and conceptual.
